Arthur Waldron, Senior Fellow, is the Lauder Professor of International Relations at the University of Pennsylvania, where he directs the Sino-India Forum. Dr. Waldron is the author of two major books, From War to Nationalism: China’'s Turning Point, 1924–1925 (Cambridge University Press, 1995) and The Great Wall of China: From History to Myth (Cambridge University Press, 1992). His articles have appeared in Foreign Affairs, Orbis, China Quarterly, Commentary, World Politics, and American Historical Review.
